Compact city 

Ghent is a compact city. The congress infrastructure, university, restaurants, hotels, shops and historical heritage are at walking distance from one another. There is a well-developed congress infrastructure in Ghent. The city has a hotel- and congress capacity for 500 to 1000 people. Above all, Ghent is adding to the hotel- and congress infrastructure in a number of its city renovation projects. Such projects include, among others ‘The Loop' and ‘Artveldestadion'.
